1969 Pontiac Firebird

For 3 years I enjoyed tinkering with this classic to include installing a stock 400 c.i. Pontiac long block (casting 9790071) which was correct for the car. It had 6X-4 heads with flat tappet camshaft and intake duration of 231 and exhaust duration of 240 with .470" lift. Engine machining and assembly was done by Len Williams Auto Machine. I personally installed Ram Air replica exhaust manifolds with X-Pypes performance dual exhaust, water pump, power steering pump, alternator, high torque starter, engine mounts, Edelbrock Performer intake, 680 CFM Quick Fuel carburetor, and a new 4-core radiator to complete the package. I then addressed the upper and lower ball joints, control arm bushings, tie rod ends, shocks and springs, did a drum to disc conversion, replaced the booster and master cylinder, replaced the steering box, and much much more. I truly enjoyed the detail work and research that went into this project.

Home Renovating

In the spirit of doing it yourself I chose my first home to be a fixer upper. Over the course of a few years I renovated the entire home while learning a great deal in the process. There were several things I had never done before such as roofing, tiling, flooring, plumbing, and electrical but it never stopped me from getting my feet wet.
